North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center has announced its annual Spring Luncheon.
The event will be held at the Glen Head Country Club on Thursday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Lisa McCarthy, CEO and co-founder of Fast Forward Group, a leadership development and executive coaching company known for accelerating growth and innovation, elevating talent, and transforming culture.
The day will begin with games of mahjong, canasta, bridge and samba, along with shopping at a variety of Long Island’s trendiest and most charitable boutiques, including A2Z Loungewear, Becca London Jewelry, DASH, Gallery Couture, 2 Friends Clothing and more.
Due to popular demand, the Guidance Center’s line of signature jewelry featuring the calendula flower — widely known for its healing properties — will return with an expanded selection. This symbol will adorn an elegant assortment of necklaces and earrings, representing the nonprofit’s mission to provide hope and healing — the perfect gift in support of mental health awareness.
With everything from jewelry and apparel to accessories and home goods, there is something for everyone at the Spring Luncheon. There will also be opportunities to participate in raffles for luxury prizes, including a $500 gift certificate to Americana Manhasset, artwork from Leon+Good Gallery and diamond studs valued at $4,000.
